REFORMA Día Mini-Grants

 Deadline: February 27, 2026 (11:59 PM PST)

The REFORMA Día Mini-Grants support library and community programs celebrating Día de los Niños/Día de los Libros (Children's Day/Book Day), with a focus on children, families, literacy, and Latino/x/é culture.

Up to five $500 mini-grants will be awarded for programs held in April 2026. Funds may be used for authors or performers, books and materials, decorations, publicity, and other direct program costs. Applicants must be current REFORMA members. Public libraries, academic libraries, school libraries, and community organizations in the United States, including Puerto Rico, are eligible to apply. A brief final report is due by May 31, 2026.

Application tip: This is a short, straightforward application. Proposals should describe one focused activity, clearly connected to Día and Latino/x/é culture, the intended audience, promotion plans, and a brief budget.

Full details and the application are available on the Reforma site: https://www.reforma.org/dia-grants
