Funder: Carnegie Corporation of New York; administered by the Association for Rural & Small Libraries (ARSL)

The Literacy Bridges grant program is a two-year opportunity for library staff at invited Carnegie-built libraries to build or expand adult basic and digital literacy programs. In addition to a $25,000 grant, selected participants will receive professional development, mentorship, and cohort-based learning focused on program design, partnerships, and sustainability.

This initiative is funded through a $2 million grant from the Carnegie Corporation of New York, which aims to strengthen digital and basic literacy in rural communities through libraries.
