For the fifth year, James Patterson and Scholastic Book Clubs are teaming up to bring books into classrooms throughout the country. The sweepstakes will award $250 to 4,000 teachers (with four or more years of experience) and $500 to 500 new teachers (with three or less years of experience) to create and improve their classroom libraries. Scholastic will match Patterson with gifts of 250 and 500 bonus points for its book club. Teachers must be current legal residents of the 50 states or the District of Columbia and be actively teaching in any grade from PreK through 12th grade in a US school.
