Amount: Up to $4,000 for an author/illustrator visit
Eligibility: Personal members of the Association for Library Services to Children (ALSC) and the American Library Association (ALA)
Purpose: This award was established with funding from Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing, in honor of Maureen Hayes, to bring together children and nationally recognized authors/illustrators at the library.
